Schedule Now For Spring Cleaning Work
Every year the number of ponds Fins and Flowers maintains increases so don't wait until the last minute to schedule your spring maintenance work. Spring maintenance work will begin in late March or early April depending on spring weather conditions. Be aware that while a pond can be cleaned at any time in the spring, your biofilter will not start to develop beneficial bacteria colonies until after the water temperature reaches 50 degrees or above on a consistent basis. If you are using bacteria based additives, hold off adding them until the water warms up in order to maximize their effectiveness.
